Frequently Asked Questions
-
While all three patterns create a beautiful oversized quilted bow, they're designed with different construction methods and fabric options.
The Big Giant Quilted Bow is the original pattern and can be made using traditional patchwork blocks or whole cloth fabric.
The Big Giant Quilted Jelly Roll Bow is designed specifically for 2½" jelly roll strips, making it a fun way to showcase your favorite precuts.
The Big Giant Rag Quilt Bow features exposed rag seams for a cozy, textured look and is made with 5" squares (charm packs) or yardage. It's also fully reversible, with a traditional quilted back.
Each pattern has its own unique look, so you can choose the one that best fits your style and fabric stash!

Yes! You're welcome to sell finished bows made from my patterns on a small-scale, handmade basis. The pattern itself may not be copied, shared, or resold.
-
The most common reason is using the wrong batting. My bow patterns are designed to work with Poly-Fil Extra-Loft Quilt Batting, which gives the bow the structure it needs to stand up nicely. If you use a thinner or low-loft batting, your bow may not have the same full, structured look.

Paper patterns are available primarily through local quilt shops and fabric stores. If you can’t find one near you, check with popular online retailers like Fat Quarter Shop or ask your favorite local quilt shop if they can order it for you. I do not sell paper patterns directly to consumers through my website.
-
Yes! Quilt shops and retailers can purchase wholesale paper patterns directly through my website with a valid reseller's certificate. My patterns are also available through select wholesale distributors.

If I ever make a correction or update to one of my patterns, you'll find it on the Pattern Updates page on my website. I recommend checking there before starting a project if you've had your pattern for a while.
